Tan Care Guide

A little preparation and the right aftercare makes all the difference — follow these tips to get the most out of your tan.

Before Your Tan

  • Exfoliate daily in the days leading up to your appointment — pay extra attention to knees, elbows, and ankles.
  • Remove unwanted hair at least 48 hours before your session.
  • Avoid moisturiser, perfume, and deodorant on the day of your tan.
  • Remove contact lenses before your treatment to avoid contamination.
  • Bring loose, dark clothing and loose-fitting shoes to wear straight afterwards — tight clothing will cause the tan to rub off.

After Your Tan

  • Leave your tan to fully develop before showering — 8 hours standard, or your chosen time for express.
  • Avoid exercise, sweating, or getting wet during the development period.
  • Shower using a pH-balanced face and body wash, then gently pat dry.
  • Moisturise every day to keep skin hydrated and help your tan last longer.
  • Remember — sunless tan does not protect against UV rays. Always use SPF if you're in the sun.
  • Start exfoliating again after 4 days for a smooth, even fade.
